Description: The Athletics department of Armstrong Atlantic State University invites applications for the position of Head Coach for Men's Basketball. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the organization and administration of all phases of the men's basketball program to include coaching, recruiting, budget management, scheduling, NCAA rules compliance, and summer camps. Some teaching in the Physical Education activities program is required. This is a full time (12 month position).

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred) with a demonstrated ability to coach men's basketball at the collegiate level and a commitment to excellence in both athletics and academics. Must be physically able to participate in all aspects of the sport for hands-on coaching and the ability to give routine assessment and feedback to players on skill, progress and interaction with other team members.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

The University: Armstrong Atlantic State University is a four-year coeducational senior unit in the University System of Georgia and has an enrollment of more than 7200 students. It is located approximately twelve miles south of the historic district of the city of Savannah on a modern 268 acre campus.
